Hi Guys
last year I posted a couple of links of my band live featuring the Vintage Modern. We did a gig recently and a couple of songs have posted on youtube which you might find interesting. We now have a cool hammond player too! With regards to my rig - as before, I am using one 100w VM, a power brake and a Marshall bluesbreaker II pedal set to a clean boost for the main solo bits, oh and a vox wah. The other Marshall's belong to the headline act. I've found there is a lot of difference with the VM with even the smallest change on the master vol. The clips posted at the end of last year had the master at 3 o'clock, the ones below have the master vol at full. Much smoother and sweeter sounding to my ears. Hope you like them! I'm very pleased with the tone. BTW both songs are originals. Cheers! ![]() _________________ I'll give you everything but my guitar and my car..... |

Very nice, good original stuff there. I love to see bands that have keyboard players as it adds so much to the mix.
Sooo I see the VM running in high range on that and then I got a sneal peak of a DSL on the clean channel also. Are you running both in stereo? If so I know that you are producing tone killer tone for your audience. _________________ My Gear My Music Drum Backing Tracks |

The main act did get a cool sound though! Cheers, _________________ I'll give you everything but my guitar and my car..... |

sounds great again. is this the same les paul you used as last time?
has a great woman tone. the way you approach the outro solos reminds me of Kossoff too. ps our bass player has a gibson SG bass. like the old EB's they can actually make you feel sick there that powerful and i like high volume as much as the next man! _________________ Amps Cabs 2466 Marshall Vintage Modern 425a Marhall G12C Slant Cab 2266c Marshall Vintage Modern Marshall Class 5 Guitar 08' Gibson R8 00' Gibson R6 (P-90's) |

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. Yes same les Paul as before. It's loaded with wcr crossroads pickups for those of you that are interested in that kind of thing.
Thanks again guys. You're too kind. Oh, btw thanks for the Koss comment. Massive Koss fan here! _________________ I'll give you everything but my guitar and my car..... |
