Hi all.
Some basic questions , only really used combo amps. Really considering buying a JMD at the moment but wondering if any cabinet would work well. Thinking about using a 425b. When matching the cab to amp in mono would you set both the head and cab to 16ohm? Many Thanks |

The 425 would be a fantastic cabinet to pair up with the JMD. I have tried it with that cab and it sounds great, but currently
I am really digging the Vin30s with it. The Eq is very responsive on the amp so I think this amp is going to sound good with any of Marshalls cabinets. Yes, plug your speaker cable into the 16ohm socket in the back of the JMD then into the mono 16 ohm on the 425. You are going to love this amp. I spent many hours over the weekend with it dialing in and programing presets, My Les Paul screams through the JMD, Just a huge smile! _________________ My Gear My Music Drum Backing Tracks |
