Post Marshall 2061X
Hi,
I've just got my new amp last week, the Marshall JMP 2061X, pure  Plexif tone.
This 20 watts Handwired mini Plexi head is a jewel, his tones are fantastic, and his 20 watts are very powerfull. No other modern Marshall amps (exept the Handwired Range) can deliver such delicious vintage tones like this amp.
Thank you so much Mr Marshall for this Handwired reissue range, this 2061X is really a tone monster  :Thumbs

Heck yeah, it's a mini-me plexi. I have been taking mine to shows a lot recently. This from a guy who used to think 1 full stack was a compromise.  :high

I've recently discovered plugging into both high sens inputs with a Y cable adapter. I think I really like this config. A little extra push, over the cliff....

That's the way we used to do it back in the day. A small lead out of the bottom input on one channel into the top of the other. Mix 'em up for a different flavour.

I'd love one of those 20watters - they have a great reputation for quality sound - Enjoy!

I've had two of the heads, both were very different.  I will say I thought the cabinet was stellar....would have liked to try some V30's or greenbacks in it as an option, but you pay dearly for these things as they are.

I have recently discovered that this baby Plexi can also make some fine bedroom level tone as well. Plug into the bass high input, dime the treble volume and bring the bass volume up slightly to remove the fizziness while bringing the greatly reduced volume level up to suit you. Imagine, Plexi goodness at reduced levels without an attenuator!

Thank you Marshall, for building such a stellar amp!
